All the terms you'll run into when automating your votes on a Minecraft, Dofus, World of Warcraft or DayZ server: cooldowns, containers, 2FA. Short, factual definitions, up to date as of October 2026.
Concepts
Cooldown (on a voting site)
Mandatory wait imposed by a voting site between two votes from the same account or the same IP. On almost every voting site (Minecraft, Dofus, World of Warcraft, DayZ…), the cooldown is 24 hours. BoostVote detects when the cooldown ends and votes again automatically.
Official voting site
External server list where players vote to push their favorite game server (Minecraft, Dofus, World of Warcraft, DayZ…) up the rankings. Each validated vote triggers an in-game reward (points, kits, items) handed out by the server. Each server picks 1 to 6 official voting sites, and BoostVote covers all of them.
Open vote vs vote with login
Two voting modes depending on the server. An open vote only asks for your in-game name — that's the case for most French-speaking servers. A vote with login also requires you to sign in on the server's website (typically NationsGlory), sometimes with 2FA. BoostVote handles both modes.
NG points (NationsGlory)
In-game virtual currency handed out by the NationsGlory server for each validated vote on a voting site. NG points can be exchanged for kits, rare items, ranks or in-game money. With the server's 2 official voting sites and 1 vote per 24h cooldown, BoostVote guarantees you the maximum daily haul.
Azuriom
Open-source CMS built for Minecraft server websites, very widespread among French-speaking servers. Azuriom handles authentication, online shops, vote rankings and reward distribution. When a server runs on Azuriom, BoostVote talks natively to its voting module.
