BoostVote — who we are and why we automate game server voting

BoostVote is a French SaaS service that automates voting on French-speaking game servers: Minecraft first and foremost, but also Dofus, World of Warcraft and DayZ. The bot runs in a dedicated, isolated Docker container and encrypts your credentials. An independent project, continuously improved.

Why BoostVote exists

On most French-speaking game servers (Minecraft with NationsGlory, Lostgard and others, but also Dofus, World of Warcraft or DayZ), voting on server listing sites — from 1 to 6 official sites depending on the server — gives you in-game rewards (keys, points, rare items). The problem: you have to do it several times a day, by hand.

BoostVote was built to automate that process. A dedicated bot, deployed in an isolated container, votes 24/7 on the sites you choose and keeps you posted in real time through a dashboard and alerts.

How it works, step by step

1. Sign up — you create an account on boostvote.fr.
2. Setup — you pick your game server, your in-game name and the sites to vote on.
3. Launch — a dedicated Docker container starts up and begins voting.
4. Tracking — you watch the votes live from the dashboard and get an alert if something needs your input (2FA in particular).

Where the project came from

BoostVote is an independent project built by an enthusiast from the French-speaking Minecraft community. The idea came from a simple observation: "I'm sick of voting by hand every 90 minutes." Born on Minecraft, the bot now also votes on Dofus, World of Warcraft and DayZ servers.

Instead of writing a throwaway script to fix a personal problem, the idea was to turn the solution into a real product: isolated containers per user, a real-time tracking dashboard, end-to-end automation. The project keeps evolving based on community feedback and changes to the voting sites.

Our approach

Isolation and security (dedicated Docker containers)

Every user has their own Docker container. No mixing between accounts, no shared credentials. Credentials are encrypted in the database and only injected when the bot starts.

Transparency (live logs, success rate, alerts)

The bot shows its live logs, its success rate, its cooldowns and any error it runs into. You know exactly what's going on — no black box.

Continuous improvement

Voting sites change (UI redesigns, new mechanisms, new servers). The code is actively maintained to keep up with those changes and add new servers regularly.

Tech stack

Laravel 12 backend (PHP, Blade SSR)

The control plane is served by a server-side rendered Laravel 12 application, backed by MySQL for persistence.

Node.js bot in a Docker container

Each user gets their own Docker container running a Node.js bot dedicated to their account.

Stripe payments via Laravel Cashier

Billing goes through Stripe and Laravel Cashier — secure payment, self-service subscription management, no card stored on BoostVote's side.
